Information we collect

• WCA sign-in provides your WCA account identifier, public profile name, and WCA ID when one exists. The site uses a secure session cookie to keep you signed in.
• Competition registration and payment review can include selected events, sender number, transaction ID, whole-taka amount, status, and organizer review notes.
• Contact and lost-and-found forms collect the details you enter, plus an optional lost-item image.
• Email alerts store the email address and consent time only after an explicit opt-in. Bulk alert delivery is not active yet.
• Guardian consent stores the guardian name, relationship, consent time, and any organizer verification.

How information is used and accessed

Information is used to operate registrations, verify manual payments, answer messages, return lost items, record consent, and maintain an audit trail. Authorized organizers can access the relevant admin records. Public pages never expose payment sender numbers, transaction IDs, contact details, or guardian details. Registration contact information is not reused for marketing.

Services and retention

Cloudflare hosts and protects the site, including spam checks through Turnstile. WCA provides authentication and public competition data. Transactional email may be delivered through Resend when enabled. Operational and audit records are kept only while needed for competition administration, safety, accounting, dispute handling, or organizational recordkeeping.

Your choices

You can avoid optional fields and marketing opt-ins. To ask what information is held about you, request a correction, or request deletion where the organization is able to do so, use the contact form. Never submit passwords, one-time codes, or full financial account credentials through this site.
